A single brown-banded female cockroach has the potential to produce about 250 offspring. Because the brown banded cockroach egg cases are glued to objects around the home or office, they are susceptible to drying out and other factors which contributes to a much lower hatching rate, than the German cockroach. Habits: Brown banded cockroaches are found throughout structures but show a preferences for warmer areas, over 80 F (27C).
